National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is a non-profit charity organization. Most of their patients are generally from the lower-income group and unable to afford dialysis treatments at private medical facilities. Thus, NKFM helps to subsidize the cost of the patient’s dialysis treatments.
As a part of Ultratrex's CSR, we had extended our togetherness with NKFM during their annual Mid-autumn mooncakes charity project for Year 2020. We had distributed mooncakes for 68 dialysis patients at NKF Permas Jaya. The funds raised shall be channelled to subsidize 1,709 underprivileged dialysis patients at NKF centres across Malaysia.
